Communications/Media Specialist (Palmetto Bay, FL)
Location:
Researches, evaluates, and recommends new documentation tools and methods in support of documentation improvement efforts.

Develops documentation project plans and timelines.
<br>
Edits written documentation of development and other IT staff to create unified and consistent support documents.
<br>
Plans, designs, researches, writes, and edits a range of documents, including user guides and manuals, technical specifications, training materials, user policies, and proposals, for both print and online media. Ability to multi- task. Handle several events at one time.
<br>
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
<br>
Ability to organize, utilize and delegate responsibilities to support staff (through the direction of their supervisor).
<br>
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, elected officials, agencies and clients.
<br>
Must be able to work under rigid deadlines.
<br>
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in the field of English, Communications, or Journalism. A background in technology is desirable. Proficient with Windows, MS Office. Familiar with HTML.
